Mission statement

Dreamwork is growing and initially needed a video for their new careers site. Not only did they want to show what it’s like to work there, but they also wanted to show the great atmosphere. They are often out having a good time together and wanted to show happy people and the social culture. In addition, they wanted to show the joy they get from finding the right job for the right candidate.

How to proceed

We were present throughout the entire event from Friday to Sunday, and filmed both the professional events, the dinner and the concert with Klovner i kamp. On Saturday, we had an extra person to record audio when we interviewed some of the participants to get their thoughts on the event. Throughout the event, we had a dialog with the managers to make sure we got everything they wanted.

Strategy

The videos were delivered in a long version of 3 minutes, a version of 1 minute and a short version of 30 seconds. We don’t often produce 3-minute videos, but in this case we felt it was the best length for the movie and we wanted to include as much fun as possible for the participants. We cut shorter versions that were potentially more suitable for social media. The videos were delivered in landscape format 16:9, and portrait 9:16 for flexible use in different channels.

Results

Dreamwork ended up with a 90-second video and a 30-second short version. It adorns not only the careers page, but also the front page of dreamwork.no. In addition, it is used in job ads for Dreamwork. We’ve been told by employees that they are happy to see the video, which is very nice, and proof that we brought out the good atmosphere we ourselves experience when we visit them.
