Mediabooster came to us with an idea to create a promotional video that showcases the personality of the company. They wanted to use the video both to promote their own services, but also as employer branding. After discussions and brainstorming, we came up with the idea of showcasing all employees’ superpowers. In this way, they were able to show what they offer and at the same time attract the right target group when it comes to recruitment. Using humor also makes it entertaining for the viewer.

Fremgangsmåte

The idea development process started immediately after Mediabooster got in touch. After a couple of meetings where we nailed down the concept, we began the process of deciding which cinematic effects we wanted to use. We felt that we were given a lot of freedom and confidence to come up with the details, such as cuts, perspective, colors, animation and costumes to tell the message. Before the day of the shoot, we had planned each shot in detail. All Mediabooster employees were involved, so we used two shooting days to accommodate everyone’s schedule. The costumes were purchased and everyone had been briefed in advance. The good advance planning meant that the shoot went very smoothly.

Strategi

We had a strong focus on a strategic video production. By ending the video with «what is your superpower?» and «what superpower does your company need?», the commercial provides two opportunities for both employer branding and promotion of the company’s services. The video was also edited into short versions with each employee’s own «superpower» which in turn opened up for use in separate social media marketing campaigns. The video can also be split up in many different ways, such as picking out just one of the superpowers to directly market to a more specific target group.

Resultat

Today, Mediabooster is left with videos with different messages. The video is equally suitable for employer branding and commercials. At the same time, it doesn’t expire; it can be used for a long time in the future. The concept itself can also be spun off later – there are many possibilities. Our close collaboration has enabled us to understand each other’s wishes, and we’re looking forward to our next project together.
